Module is available as a DIY project only.

This Module is a prototype or in a concept phase.

517S VCF + Q110 Noise

Unlisted FilterNoise

517S VC High/Low Pass Filter with Synthesizers.com Q110 PCB installed

Besides being easy to do, it is a nondestructive modification and easily reversed. (it will likely void your warranty on both modules though! eek! hihi ) The steps are basically:

  • Remove the Q110 PCB from the module

  • Remove the bottom two screws for the top PCB of the 517

  • Add two stand-offs where you removed the screws from the 517

  • In the top two holes of the Q110 PBC add two nylon threaded spacers the same height as the stand-offs

  • Attach the Q110 PBC to the new stand offs you put in the 517

  • Remove the jumper on the 517's input header K3

  • Place the jumper on the top two pins of the three pin head on the Q110 PCB where the Q110 volume pot used to be.

  • Make a little 2 pin MTA 100 jumper and connect the lowest 2 pin header of the Q110 PCB to the 517's input header K3

That's it! thumbs up Here's a little Instagram test, not very comprehensive, just FWIW:
