Synapse by Mental Noise is a CV to MIDI Eurorack module allowing you to control an external instrument using your modular synth.

Initially made to control the Korg Volca Beats drum kit but you can actually use it to control any instrument with a MIDI input.

This module has 10 CV inputs connected to digital pins of the Ardruino, each of these inputs trigger an instrument on the Korg Volca Beats or a note on any other Midi instrument.

It also has 6 CV inputs connected to analog pins of the Arduino, each of these sending Control Change Midi messages to the instrument, by default they are used to change the PCM speed of the Clap, Claves, Agogo and Crash and to change the Stutter Time and Depth.

Connect your instrument via the MIDI out connector.

The logic is done on an Arduino Nano and the source code is available on Github

The firmware is easy to adapt to your needs and is uploaded to the module using the Arduino IDE.
