Four Channel Mixer
This is recreation of the Moog 984 Four Channel Mixer from 1968. It is an accurate reproduction of the original schematics and transistor only design. It is a 4 input/output audio matrix mixer with decoupling capacitors in the signal chain, it should not be used as a CV mixer.
The module is designed to complement the Behringer System 55 Modular System, with a black anodised aluminium 38HP panel with 28 potentiometers.
The AM984 delivers a superb sound, with high quality components used throughout including polypropylene capacitors in the EQ sections and low noise transistors. It is perfect as a final audio mixer in your Moog Modular signal chain.
We recommend using two inputs from your final VCA's and utilising two outputs as sends to your FX with two returns to the spare inputs. The two remaining outputs provide a stereo out to your mixer or audio interface.
There are eight 3.5 mm jack sockets on the base of the black anodised aluminium front panel:
4x audio inputs
4x audio outputs
There is also a PCB mounted 10-pin header for optional rear mounted external inputs and outputs (not included), and jumpers to set whether this is the active I/O.
These merchants probably sell this module. Huh?
