active switch, 2x (2 inputs + 2 outputs) with mute, bidirectional

2xflip-sides active: Big brother of flip-sides active with additional functions.

2xflip-sides active is an active switch with 2 x 2 Inputs and 2 x 2 Outputs.
Left Inputs 1+ 2 are normalized to Right Inputs 1 + 2.
Left Outputs 1+ 2 with MUTE all via CV, Right Outputs 1+2 with MUTE all via CV.
Flip Left 1 + 2 signals via CV, Flip Right 1 + 2 signals via CV.
Left FLIP CV input is normalized to right FLIP CV input.
2 Pushbuttons for FLIP/MUTE - selectable via jumper.
If FLIP/MUTE is controlled via CV, e.g. at high frequencies - holding down pushbutton - disables CV control, depending pushbutton jumper selection.
Works with any AUDIO or CV signal, bidirectional :)

Two bicolor LEDs indicate FLIP status Left 1 + 2 and Right 1 + 2 - green = flipped, red = not flipped
Two red LEDs indicate MUTE all status Left 1 + 2 and Right 1 + 2.

It´s possible to flip/mute signals at really high frequencies.

To Flip or Mute signals you need a CV signal (Trigger, Gate, LFO) with changes from min. + 7V to 0V.
To flip Left 1+2 and Right 1 + 2 signals with one CV signal (left FLIP input) you need a CV signal change from +10V to 0V.

Depending on plugged cables, you can use it for example as:

• 2x stereo fx send channel with mute and flip-sides - very interesting on stereo delays, stereo filters, stereo reverbs.

• 1 stereo channel (dry signal) with mute and flip-sides + 1 stereo fx channel (100% WET) with mute and flip-sides.

• 2x mono fx send for two FXs - with mute

• 2x simple on / off switch

• 2x simple on/on switch with mute

• 2x swap two CVs, GATEs, TRIGGERs, LFOs, ENVs or Clocks between two modules with MUTE ALL.

• in bidirectional use - mix different wave shapes - with mute and flip at audio range - may use some signal attenuation before.

• flip two CV and GATE / Trigger sequences between two sound sources - great for live performance - with a pushbutton or via one CV signal

2xflip-sides active comes with 3mm thick aluminium front panel and BEFACO Knurlies.
