This mult is a 4HP passive utility. Optional normalling selected by jumper on the rear can connect each segment, so this could be 3 mult-4s or a 1-in,6-out, or a 1-in,9-out.
They’re helpful to organize your patches, for example, a keyboard generating pitch information that needs a long cable could be plugged into the mult giving you a convenient location to access with shorter cables.
