4-pole programmable op-amp based VCF with the lot

This filter uses a similar circuit technique to the Polivoks to realise the classic late-1970s 4-pole cascaded lowpass filter design. Even better, it uses an improved quad amplifier cousin of the chip used in the Polivoks that has not featured in synth designs until now.

The result is a filter with plenty of high-end sizzle if you want it but is fully DC-coupled and can go subsonic for great bass. Tuning gradually flattens out in the high end thanks to the programmable-power chip, but it has pretty good tracking below 1kHz.

This iteration of the design provides access to every possible input and output from the filter core on the front panel.
