The LD4 module features four digital, flexibly usable drum voices. it can be controlled via control voltages or MIDI.

"NAAD" first product "LD4" is a compact digital drum synthesizer. The product was designed to fit Eurorack size. It can also be used as a drum sound module of the eurorack system or as a standalone groove machine. It can also be used as a central machine for rhythm tracks that gives out intense character.

Synthesis of percussion specialization
In LD4 we designed a synthesis architecture specialized for drums ore percussions. Instead of sample playback, it synthesizes all sounds in real time like an analog modeling synthesizer. Pitch Envelope, LP / HP / BP Filter, FM / AM Modulator, Noise Generator, LFO are implemented, it is possible to synthesize a wide range of sounds, from sharp kicks, ethnic metal sounds and experimental electronic sounds making use of modulation. Each section implements an independent envelope generator to realize precise sound creation.

Extensive Interfaces
interface MIDI jacks, as well as 4 x CV/GATE inputs equipped. It is also easy to link with analog sequencer and eurorack modules. And it has a Built-in 16 step sequencer. It can be operated as a stand-alone drum machine. Compatible with MIDI Timing Clock, and flexible synchronization can be performed as master and slave.
