3-Channel Stereo Panning Mixer

3-Channel Stereo Audio Mixer with Panning & Headphone Outputs

This audio mixer is perfect for adding stereo and panning capabilities to your modular system. It can serve as both a modular-level mixer or as an output module for reducing modular-level signals down to line-level when connecting to an external device, such as a mixing console etc.

It has three separate mono channels; each with its own level attenuator and panning control. Two separate pairs of unbalanced stereo outputs (L/R) are included, along with 3.5mm and 1/4" headphone outputs with a separate level control for monitoring your audio patch. The panning controls affect both the main stereo outputs and headphone outputs.

The gain of the main stereo outputs can be changed to either modular-level or line-level using jumpers on the PCB; when set to modular-level, the maximum output level is approximately unity-gain. When set to line-level, a nominal level of 5Vpp is stepped down to +4dBU with a maximum gain of up to +6dB. The gain varies very slightly depending on the position of the panning controls.

A pin connector on the PCB also allows the outputs to be internally connected to our Dual VU Meter module to provide a visual representation of the output level.
