Manual LFO with vactrol-controlled attenuator

This is essentially a manual LFO, which spins down organically over time. Our analog circuit responds differently than similar designs you might have seen, which leverage digital light or distance sensors to trigger a pulse. This is a powered circuit with a vactrol-controlled attenuator. It can go well into audio rate modulation for gritty FM tones, depending on how hard you spin the spinner.

We built our first run of prototypes by hand and are selling them on Reverb to fund mass production of our official run, with some new refinements including a much smaller SMD circuit. This current build is entirely custom, all through-hole, and each one has been hand-wired. We have tested each unit carefully, to ensure the highest quality.
