Euro-rack VCF module 8HP, voltage controlled 4 pole low-pass filter -24dB
This is a functional clone of the filter, based on ICs (IR3109, SSM2040). Widely used in vintage Roland SH-101, CAT SRM and other famous analog synthesizers. This clone is built on LM13700 chips (4 OTAs) and exponential converter. It has excellent characteristics, amazing sound and rich resonance. It can be used as a sinusoidal oscillator (at maximum resonance), through an exponential converter it responds to 1V/oct. In this mode, Cutoff works as a Tune. Detailed technical specifications are described below.
