About the Unicorn Account

Description

The Resonant Equalizer is a perennially underrated yet essential module in any Serge system. It features two adjustable audio inputs and parallel full-frequency audio outputs along with alternating Comb outputs and a master Feedback Amount control. Each of its 10 frequency controls attenuates the corresponding band when set below 12 o'clock, while resonating at the selected frequency when rotated clockwise.

These features make the ResEQ an outstanding processor for percussion and synth sounds, capable of transforming a simple bass drum into an earth-shaking monolith for instance. The generous number of inputs and outputs lend themselves to interesting feedback configurations in conjunction with VCAs and other sound processors.

This particular module is built by an experienced Serge builder using top-quality components including premium WIMA, Styroflex, Nichicon and NOS Ducati film capacitors, OPA2134 Burr-Brown op-amps, Alpha pots and Thonkiconn jacks, and ships with a power ribbon cable. It has been tested fully working and is ready to blow the roof off any gig.
