This means that if no output is plugged in to OUT 1, you get 8 inputs into OUT 2, with a level-setting for OUT 1's 4 input-channels. If OUT 1 is plugged in, it is two 4-channel mixers. Useful for using modules with stereo-outputs.

Controls: 8 input-level pots, 2 output level pots.
