Just got policed by PP, not being aware of the new panel switch feature.
Great initiative, both the function and PP efforts.

Can i suggest to define some official guidelines on this and send it by PM to all users?
There may be more users like me that do not read often the forum, but are heavy tetris players.
Cheers,
BJ

Selectable Panel Images

...
TLDR; there are two arrow buttons to change the panels images.

Great feature! Thanks a lot for that.

You know you can sort by Depth?
Click twice to change sort direction. Valid workaround?
-- modulargrid

It helps, but i still have to go through the module description do have an idea of actual depth.
A filter with x = max depth in mm, that excludes all modules without depth definition and deeper than x.
Workaround would be to see depth displayed in the overview, so no further clicks are needed to know actual depth.

A Eurocrack Pusher: "The first time is for free" ;)

Would it possible to add a filter on "Module Depth"?
Working a lot with shallow skiffs recently, and that would save me from digging through module descriptions to check if they are compatible.

There are no short term plans for expansion.
Maybe some time later.

Thanks for the fast answer! :)

Any chance of getting new features for the LFO in upcoming firmware update?
All recent additions were VCO related.

Had a good transaction as buyer with @boboter. Super fast dispatching and clear communication.

And i did a nice trade with @Delabelle, if you are local Brussels wiggler, i recommend to meet up with him.
Had a great module/system design/music talk during module handover.

Had a smooth transaction as buyer from @hadj
Ultra fast dispatching and clear communication.

Thank you so much!
It works like a charm and better implemented than i would have hoped for!

A rack format for 1U tiles would be great!
Or a least enforcing a standard on how to upload them.
Thanks,
bj

I took a Dual ADSR from @lenni ,nice communication and fast dispatching! But i was unlucky with the DHL delivery dude, who didn't do his job and just set status to refused without seeing me. With the strikes in Germany it took a month for the parcel to return to sender. He followed this up to the end and even used a different service for the second shipment.
Outstanding!

I had an excellent transaction buying 2 bastl modules from @7C!
Supper fast shipping, good packaging and great communication.

I had some smooth transactions and nice module chat buying from @Nomodulus and selling to @Heren, @ghee hgt, @polnochkoshka and @nnop

Thread: Noob help

Yes, Shades works nice as mixer, no matter if for drums or timbres.
That is what i tried to say above. But attenuverters or an extra vca cannot do bad in this rack in the place of one links.

A Eurocrack Pusher: "The first time is for free" ;)

Thread: Noob help

Hi,

I would replace 1 links with a quad attenuator. (Or use the Koma cables and put something else, like a 4HP VCA)
Shades works really nice as mixer and i wouldn't waste it for simple attenu-ation/-version.
It's dope to mix timbres or do feedbacks, due to the possibility of inverting the phase.

I just received a Cloq modue from @MarsFace. Straight forward transaction and ultra fast dispatch!
A pleasure to buy from him :)

Thread: Bug Report

This Bug is known and already on my list. I thought nobody will notice that. But now I have to look into it, damn.
Also the conversion calculation is way off. It uses a hardcoded constant from times, when the Euro actually was worth anything...
modulargrid

This bug bothers me as well.
Can i suggest to completely skip any currency conversions and just have $ and € MRSP entered manually?

Even with a real-time conversion using the latest exchange rates the prices will be off.
Especially with US modules in EU, rule of thumb is 1 to 1 conversion from $ to €.
In US modules are advertised without VAT, in Europe with VAT, add shipping and import taxes and you end up with a module listed for 299$ sold in Europe for 299€.

I have missed this:
I would like having the ability to insert empty rows to anywhere in a system plan. An example: 4 rows are filled - I need to add an extra row between row 2 and 3 for more modulators and filters.
It's a pain (gigantic 1st world problem) to add an extra row at the bottom and then move all the modules of the lower half to make space in the middle...
-- KNYST

KNYST, as unicorn user you have the "swap row" function in your "edit" menu.
That should do the trick.

A Eurocrack Pusher: "The first time is for free" ;)

I have two feature requests:

1) What i am really missing is a possibility to flag modules I own.
That parameter added to the search options would considerably ease the burden of searching.
As bonus, in the case the above is implemented, a button kind of "Generate rack with all my modules" would be nice to have.

2) Right now a rack is either public or private. All or nothing. If i want to discuss a private rack with a buddy, i need to download the image and send it to him. What would be handy would be the possibility to give "view rights" on a rack to specific members of MG.

Swap Rows

Unicorn members can now easily swap entire rows in the planner.

Yes, this is a really useful feature! Thanks a lot.

I sold a Seq8 kit to @Dominikeddie. He asked to hold, and transferred within the agreed time. :)
I would hold another module for him.

I had the same issue with my unit. It was my first stereo mixer, but i sold it and went for a Unify.

I like the idea of having multiple states for a rack.

Especially when trying different module positions within a rack.
I do a lot of copies just to re-shuffle some modules. Having several states would be great in this context.
I suppose this should be easier to implement as the initial request to have different modules for the same rack.
What i ask for relates to the same set of modules, just different "coordinates" for them in the rack.

EDIT: I just realise this may have a bad impact on selling Unicorn accounts, because users do not need multiple racks to try out variations anymore. Just make it Unicorn only :) Another good reason to go "pro" hehe

Thread: Marketplace

I have another request: Can you make 2 regions for Europe, EU and Non-EU?
If you have 3 regions for the Americas, i think we can have 2 for Europe :)
For the customs it is the same if i import a module from CH or US ...

Thread: Marketplace

Thanks for setting the thread up and explaining the @ function.

Maybe it already enough to just add the rating system used for the modules to the user accounts as well?
Rating each transaction is probably more complicated to implement?

A Eurocrack Pusher: "The first time is for free" ;)

Thread: Marketplace

This is soo cool! I put some modules for test and i find the UI easy to use.
A bit cash strapped ATM, but es soon as i'm liquid again i'll try the notifications when searched for modules go up for sale.

I'm as well in favor of a feedback/rating system for sellers.
In the meantime, can we make a "Good Trader" thread in the forum?

A Eurocrack Pusher: "The first time is for free" ;)

Anything new on Praga in the meantime?

A Eurocrack Pusher: "The first time is for free" ;)

Thanks solitud! :) Didn't think as far as to look in my user prefs for this, doh.

A Eurocrack Pusher: "The first time is for free" ;)

Yes, it's a killer module. Unique aspect is to do frequency dependent envelope following.
As far as i know only other module doing this is the Buchla 296 spectral processor.
But it's a power bitch!

A Eurocrack Pusher: "The first time is for free" ;)

Yes, it self-osc. like hell. It has two resonation modes.

Doepfer 124 is a kid compared to these reso heavy, gritty biests.

It's no production model, a custom job made in 2 examples.
