Preamp for Schertler STAT and DYN transducers
Especially designed for use with all Schertler electrostatic and dynamic transducers, The PRE-AIII is a compact preamplifier loaded with features with improved performance. Individual controls include Gain, Bass, Treble, Resonance (180 Hz attenuation) and Volume.
The PRE-AIII accepts both XLR and 1/4" jack inputs, and provides both dry (line level) and equalized outputs. A phantom power switch is provided to supply power for the BLUESTiCK Marine system.
The PRE-AIII is designed to allow the player to plug into a powered speaker, bass amplifier, or powered stage monitor, without any performance loss, with a separate send for the house system.
Class-A constant current design and a regulated AC power supply mean a strong instrument signal at all times is delivered to the sound system.
The PRE AIII features:
* Combination input - 1/4" jack or balanced XLR
* Two outputs:
Dry - intended for the house system and unaffected by volume and EQ adjustments.
Output(local) - intended for the player's monitor, or for performing using a powered
speaker or bass amp only.
* 12VDC input power supply input
(12 VDC regulated power supply "wall wart" included)
* Phantom power switch for the Bluestick Marine
* Ground lift Switch
The PRE-AIII controls are the following:
* Gain: the mic trim (pre EQ gain - both outputs - DRY OUT and OUTPUT)
* Bass EQ adjust (local output only -OUTPUT)
* Treble EQ adjust (local output only - OUTPUT)
* Resonance Filter adjust (both outputs - OUTPUT and DRY OUTPUT) - to cut unwanted
resonance frequency
* Volume (local output only)
