8 VCAs, the knobs act as both a gain with no cv and an attenuator for the cv. They've been set up for 2x gain.
The top 3 VCAs have the knobs on top, the VC8 row has 2 knobs, one belonging to the VCA above and one below, and the bottom three have their knobs on top.
