The Cali76-TX-L pushes the envelope, outfitting the Cali76 with an additional Class A transistor stage and a Lundahl transformer, which provides a crisp, transparent sound with just the right amount of analog mojo. High-quality studio compressors were indispensable for creating some of history’s most storied guitar tones, and with the Cali76-TX-L, you can transport those tones to the stage. Its streamlined interface gives you plenty of tweakability, including Ratio, Attack, and Release controls.Since the compressor's creation in 1966, there has been no more famous offspring than that of the Origin Effects Cali76. The difference between the iron-core transformer (TX) created in-house at Origin Effects and the Lundahl transformer (TX-L) is that you are getting an absolutely transparent sound. No saturation! If you're looking to predominantly use your compression pedal in the studio setting, the Cali76-TX-L is the right pedal to choose. Bass players love the Cali76-TX-L in the studio and for liver performance because it gives clear, smooth compression without any of the saturation and accompanying distortion that guitarists often seek in the TX version (without the Lundahl transformer). This unit is in absolutely mint condition with all original paperwork, packing materials, and box. The unit functions flawlessly. The serial number is 1568L. This is from the original production run during 2012-2016, and is not from the reissue production run in 2019.
