Throughout the 1960's the classic germanium fuzz face made its mark on the rock scene. The pollinator uses a hand-matched germanium transistor, and a modified fuzz face circuit. The output has three times the headroom of the vintage counterparts, allowing it to live alongside modern rigs, and providing a much wider depth of tone. Another mod found on the Pollinator is the external bias knob, giving control of power feeding the transistor. The final product gives a classic vintage fuzz tone, with tight bass, crisp highs, that cleans up beautifully!Requires a 9V DC centre negitive power supply.
