Vintage Guitar Workshop has a 1986 (Verified by date code on the CTS pots) Pro Co Rat for sale. The logo has faded away over time, but the pedal works property. Our video has the wrong date, sorry for that mistake. SN - #35660 In 1984, ProCo was faced with an urgent decision. The RAT pedal, which was being produced in a Big Box enclosure, was losing sales compared to other popular pedal brands such as BOSS, Ibanez, DOD, and MXR, which were all being produced in smaller enclosures. In an effort to regain attention and boost sales, ProCo decided to switch the RAT to a Small Box format. The first version of this new format was known as the "White Face" RAT, which featured a new RAT logo in a white filled block with black text. This logo was achieved by screen printing white graphics on the surface of the enclosure, leaving the text un-screened to appear black within the white block.
