A handy pedalboard preamp that allows you to have 12 different digital preamps directly in the pedalboard. For each sound, in addition to the standard corrections (volume, gain, bass, mids, treble), there is a separately adjustable noise gate and pre/post boost that can be turned on/off, so there are actually 24 sounds (12 presets plus boost on/off).The preamp also has a Tone Capture function, which makes it possible to add a capture of any custom amp to an existing digital preamp, which it then takes the character of. It's no Quad Cortex or Tonex but it does have a positive effect on the sound of the preset.It is possible to use the built-in cabinet simulations or upload your own IRs.The preamp is especially cool in the output options. It has separate adjustable cabinet sim switching for the jack and for the XLR output, so it can go into the box and into the mix at the same time without any problems. Also, for each preset you can set whether the effects loop is on or off. There is a headphone output, good for practice and such.Easy to control live directly with potentiometers, no menus etc. Even tone capturing can be done with just the effect itself. Detailed adjustments like boost type, preset recording via app (bluetooth) or software.Very useful gizmo with decent sound. I can keep my presets with some tone captures if interested (mainly hi gain) or delete and leave factory settings.
