Up for sale is a Diamond VIB1 Vibrato from 2008, arguably the most beautiful sounding and desirable, all-analog vibrato to exist.After trying about a dozen different Vibratos and never quite feeling a spark, I finally realized that the company that also made my favourite delay pedal, the Memory Lane 2, had this beautiful purple beast under their belt and figured I should give it a go. From the very first play, it has been the undisputed king in my mind. It can show massive range in perfect subtleties and small waves to chorus and vibrato capable of rivalling monsoons. Get cozy or get weird, the choice is yours. The calm and collected jazz circuit adds a wondrous hint of character and charm to just about any tone and, even when it deserves no place on a track, I often hesitate to shut it off purely out of selfish enjoyment of what comes out. Of all the gear I've traded and sold over the years, this is the one I most difficultly part with and will likely end up returning to in the future. The pedal is in Excellent condition showing minimal wear, only a couple very small and almost unnoticeable marks and performs without a flaw. Unfortunately the rear paper label was torn off due to velcro being placed over it at some point but the internal board is marked with production info, dating it to July 7th, 2008 and has all the key circuitry labeled well. Internals are clean as can be (pictured above) and the pedal was well kept, spending 99% of its life happily in a well padded pedalboard case away from dust and the signs of time. This sale will also include a GigRig ElectroMan 9V-24V 300mA center-positive power adaptor, ensuring any typical high-current 9V power source (individual power brick or pedalboard power) will output the proper 24V 300mA center-positive power needed for this pedal to operate properly and not be damaged. Also included is a PedalSnake 2.1mm to 2.5mm adaptor to ensure the adaptor fits into the oversized jack on the VIB1. I've used these for years and I will note the 2.5mm plug can feel slightly loose when plugging it in but it works without flaw and stays where it should, even during travel. These two are worth over $100 CAD (~$75 USD) but included for free as I want to make sure whoever gets this A. doesn't ruin it and B. can enjoy it's full potential as much as I have.This unfortunately does not come in the original box as that was lost many moons ago. It's been placed inside a random Big Muff box so please don't be surprised when your package arrives and a Bass pedal box stares you in the face before you open it all the way :)Reasonable offers are always considered.
