XCrossFade is an active crossfader utility module used for blending from one audio into another. This makes the module ideal for creating a wet/dry blend for FX or parallel processing.
As well as audio signals the 2hp XCrossFade is useful for blending or controlling CV signals with some extra flexibility.
The A and B inputs are normalized to +5V and -5V respectively. With nothing plugged into the A and B inputs the module will give a bipolar voltage output from -5v to +5.
Plugging a signal into just one of the inputs makes it possible to attenuate and offset a signal simultaneously. Depending upon which input is used the signal will be offset between 0 and +5V or -5v.
The module can be used as an attenuator by inserting a cable into the second input to break the normalized +/-5V.
The module features a Bipolar led as part of the slider making it easy to monitor your output signal.
