2500 Series Dual Envelope Generator Module for Eurorack

An authentic re-creation of the dual envelope generator found on a legendary synth maker’s inaugural modular system, the Behringer 1003 Dual Envelope Generator offers a period-correct all-analog signal path for superior soundshaping. The 1003’s familiar four-section design includes attack time, initial decay time, sustain level, and final decay time – or release, in modern parlance. Yet, unlike the original, the 1003, along with all Behringer 2500 series modules, ditches the convoluted patch matrix for Eurorack patch points, allowing for more intuitive patch cable routing – an aspect synthesists at Sweetwater appreciate. The module features six patch points: gate and trigger inputs and four signal outputs, including two inverted outputs for added flexibility. Use the Behringer 1003 for crafting long amplitude or filter swells, snappy percussive hits, or impactful stabs, or use it to modulate pulse width, pitch, or numerous other parameters for advanced patch creation.
