Quad AR Envelope Generator

manikk AR4 is a quad AR envelope generator.
Each envelope generator has individual attack and release controls.
When the AR gets a high level on the gate input jack, it starts the envelope from zero up to maximum voltage. The time it takes to reach the maximum level is set by the attack time knob.
When the gate is released, the envelope decreases its output back to zero according to the release time knob.

The output levels for all 4 envelopes are unipolar from about 0 to +8V.

The gate input signal must have a voltage above 2.5V to start the envelope.

AR 1 & 2 are faster with shorter attack and release times: attack about 5s and release about 10s.

AR 3 & 4 are slower with longer attack and release times: attack about 10s and release about 20s.

All outputs have a 1K resistor before the signal is sent to the output-jack.

You can for example use this module together with Noise and some VCA’s to create percussion sounds.
