Four-channel mixer for audio and CV
North Coast's take on the basic four-knob Eurorack mixer is a minimalist, classic design based on just six discrete transistors running as Class A amplifiers; no ICs or more complicated components. The DIY kit comes with modern 2N5088 transistors for a clean sound, but is easily modified to substitute more exotic types. Top-quality conductive plastic log pots, offset normalling, and simultaneous DC- and AC-coupled outputs, make it suitable for both control and audio mixing. Also usable as an even-harmonic distortion module.
