What is it?
It’s a controller that provides a gate output and a cv output when you touch it.

How does it work?
When touching the gold traces on the front panel, your finger forms part of a resistor divider, generating a voltage in the circuit. This voltage is sent through a slew circuit (with controls labelled ‘rise’ and ‘fall’) before being output as cv at the top right output labelled ‘slew’ (app. 0-9V). The maximum rise and fall time is set by the toggle labelled ‘min max’.

Touching the gold traces also generates a gate at the top left output labelled ‘gate’ (app. 10V). The sensitivity for this gate can be adjusted with the trimmer labelled ‘gate sens’.

The voltage at the slew output depends on the connectivity you provide between the traces, as well as the slew settings. More pressure and/or more surface area touching the traces yields a higher voltage.
