Sequenced clock counter
Tetraktys Clock Watcher can be used in a variety of ways, depending on how you conceptualize it within a patching framework. Given one or more clock inputs, it can be a mutating/asymmetrical clock divider, a logic module whose inputs are time, a complex/additive rhythm generator, a beat-oriented automation trigger, and more.
Clock Watcher consists of 4 clock counting channels, each paired with an 8-stage step sequencer (configurable as looping, random, or one-shot). At its most basic, a Clock Watcher channel counts incoming clocks and holds its associated gate output high for the specified number of “Hi” clocks, and then low for the specified number of “Lo” clocks. Unlike typical clock dividers, the ratio is both programmable (the high and low clock counts can be any value from 0-99), and sequenceable (up to 8 stages of high/low clock count pairs).
