additional description:

manual operation:
- latching: when you have a sound passing and press the latching button it mutes at press. if you press again it opens when you releas the button.
- when latching is passing, strike mutes when temporary pressed.
- when latching is muted, strike button let's temporary pass the signal.

CV inputs
- when channel is passing, (latching depressed)
- - cv ON, (like stike pressed) mutes the signal.
- - when cv OFF (like strike release) signal passes
- - when channel is passing and cv is acting, stike button pressing overrides the cv.

• when channel is muting (latching pressed):
• • cv has no effect, until strike temprorary button is pressed.

then, relating the description,
- i can change 1 thing: MUTE vs GATE operation.
so as standard build (MUTE) the latching button and cv do MUTE when they are ON.
in GATE operation the reaction in reversed. so when latching and cv are ON they open, so they let the signal pass like a GATE (but not as low pass gate as incorrectly mentioned, as LPG involves a filtering too).
this GATE operation can eventually , individually chosen in soldering individaully for mono channels,
but stereo channel is always MUTE

• description talks about a VTL5C9 vactrol. i used a substitution i use in all my builds with satisfaction, to have a lower price. but i eventually have the original vtl5c9 but as they cost 10 euro each, if i make a module with them, i will ask 170 euro (diff is only vactrol cost difference.)
