Holmes Modular Passive LPG / VCA
HMPLPGVCA stands for "Holmes Modular Passive Low Pass Gate Voltage Controlled Attenuator". It's a mouth full!
Holmes Modular has found a solution for all those unused vactrols floating around the bottom of your parts bin, and it won't disappoint. It won't even need power and doesn't have indication!
Wait, what?!
That's right. You won't be able to see what this thing is doing, and that's part of the benefit of the good sound. But you do have options to attenuate the input CV as well as switch between a resistor or capacitor to filter the vactrol pass-through and speed up the decay. All this leads to a fun and useful little passive VCA/LPG circuit for very low coin in a very small space!
