A simple passive multiple for modular

What is it?

This is a 5HP simple passive multiple that you can easily build in under half an hour. Once done you can use it to split signals in a modular synthesizer. The real benefit of this one is the versatility: as it uses breaking jacks, it can without reconfiguration (using switches and jumpers) go from four 1-2 multiples, to one 1-8 multiples, and a few configurations in between as well. Thus bending to your immediate needs.

Why did you make it?

I did a version of this one in my "Modular in a Week" series with a design that used a few unnecessary jacks, and also my panel was a bit flimsy at the time. So I created this more rigid version that anyone could build and use.

What makes it special?

The ease of build that comes with this configuration is very versatile.

If you want it even cheaper, it is possible to build this without the PCB, so you may just purchase the front panel and the jacks. Just follow the schematics and/or watch "Modular in a Week 3.x" for how the first design was made, and just skip every other input of that :)
