Alternative Faceplate For Mutable Intruments Yarns
This panel comes in two styles - the first is notation for an Avant Garde composition by Will Redman, entitled "Book". It is meant to be interpreted, however radical, by any performer(s) in any place, at any time, for any duration. My performance of this piece centers around meta-composition, where the piece is fractured, sent off to studios the world over and act as a visual Oblique Strategy; a reminder to avoid fixed routine.
The second style is an Isometric cube matrix which is the sort of place Qbert (the 80s video game character not the Invisibl Skratch Piklz) would appreciate if he were a moustache twiddling post-modern hipster.
This 12hp, lasercut aluminum panel is matte finish black powder coated, with a sandblasted geometric design with industrial grade print on top. All done by hand in house.
