I'd be interested to know more about this!

This module sounds fantastic and is bulit solid. Well done sir.

Thread: Acidlab MS2

Anyone know how this compares to the English Tear from Harvestman?

To my ear it doesn't really sound like the Oberheim SEM filter, but you can get great acid 303-like lines out of it!

Kits are finally available! :)

Want now- soon?

@Solitud: I do ship DIY products direct to Europe from my webshop, yes :) I won't be distributing my DIY products from anywhere else though, as I would have to raise the prices substantially in order to wholesale stuff to retailers.@FSK1138: <$280 for a full 42HP eurorack kit (including panel). Not sure on PCB/panel prices yet; still waiting on some numbers before anything is official! :)

any idea on price ?

Looks great! Will these ever be available in Europe?

I've got it. It adds a very smooth harmonics up to aggressive cutting saturation.

Love it.

This looks suspiciously like the Turing Machine Random Sequencer by Tom Whitwell, doesnt it?

Also, I changed the image back to the illustration that was used previously.

It is 14hp.

Can someone who owns this module confirm the width? It's stated 12HP by Cwejman but looks more like 14HP.

does exactly what its supposed to and a bit more. you can patch a compressor with the envelope using the ratio/threshold controls and a vca that can bias beyond unity gain!

The Squarewave is hours of fun

many prefer the morphing terrarium for the smooth interpolation, I like this one better because of the detune feature and the fact that it can interpolate as well, but between two different waves of your selection!

Also the resolution on this one is amazing. really clear and precise even in the highest registers.

imho the most versatile adsr on the market.

Just get separate outputs extension or make it.

The analog part, the idea and the price for DIY kit is outstanding. This module tracks up to 8 octaves even in polphonic mode and has a great potential.

SWEET

Back on the subject of size, I measured my Micromac -R and it happens to be exactly 28'95 centimeters wide, which translates to 11,397638 inches. Given that 1 hp is 0,20 inches, that makes a total of 56,998 hp (in practical terms, 57hp).

It must be due to most modules being shorter by a fraction of a millimeter that I got an extra 1hp in my rack! ;)

I keep some pictures showing a ruler and the micromac if further proof is necessary...

Here's an overview: http://20objects.com/ardcore/

Looks like it is $250

is this the same as snazzy fx ardcore .  does anyone know the price of this unit ?

To be honest, I think this won't even fit in 1U. I think it is meant to be mounted on the outside of a case. I tried to remove it, but the site wouldn't let me.

It looks like this with 18 hp in total:http://i513.photobucket.com/albums/t331/pulplogic/Tiles/outputs_zpsff36c90f.jpg

Not surebut  it says 18hp on

http://erthenvar.com/store/tilemodules/outputs

I took the liberty to adjust the size of this module. Isn't it actually 12 HP? Paired with the 6 HP of the 1U output it becomes 18 HP

...shift tile up and down   or add 2 more  tiles ..?

Yes, it self-osc. like hell. It has two resonation modes.

Doepfer 124 is a kid compared to these reso heavy, gritty biests.

It's no production model, a custom job made in 2 examples.

A Eurocrack Pusher: "The first time is for free" ;)

That looks great!  Does it have self oscillation mode as a feature?

this user has left ModularGrid

Wow!

is this a production model? Or was it just a one-off custom job?

Hey, where can I find more about this?

Yeah, it only works if you dedicate an entire row of your rack to 1U and ignore the extra space...

Like you said, the problem is that ModularGrid does not support this format. So this is a compromise in the graphic representation of this modules.

Problem is that nobody would layout their realworld racks with this compromise (wasted space).

So I am not sure if it is really useful to plan a system. But for sure people maybe interested that this subformat exists, so for now the tile modules should stay until we find a better (technical) solution.

Here's a thread on Muffwiggler: http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=65340

It's a little awkward as they are 1U in height (not supported by modulargrid), but they exist...

Here's some cases that support the tiles:

You can also build your own:

Not sure if those tile thingies make sense?

A fully fetched VCF, VCA and Pan module under one surface. Great value for money!

Taken as a standard VCO it isn´t really groundbreaking. But the Cloud idea is just unique. The sync sounds are outstanding and modulating both Spread and Chaos makes it one of a kind.

This module is just great. It expanded the timbres of my modular in a way that I haven´t expected when I decided to purchase it. One of the best modules I ever laid hand on. Paul Schreiber is a real genius!

This filter is just great. Its sound is just classic and the patch options are great. The module has a load of sweetspots, it responses very musically.

Nice XCenter, this module is all Roland world. I love it.

I had the opportunity to run this module side by side with an original JP8. The character is superbly catched. The ability to drive the module into self-oscillation is a thankfully taken plus. If you want modular access to THE Jupiter sound this VCF is essential.

Thanks! I saw this clip during my searches, but it's not very informative.

I'm beginning to think that the EMW-S101 [http://www.modulargrid.net/e/emw-sequencer-101] may be a better alternative as it offers individual step control (only 'ON' or 'SKIP', tho') for only a few more greenbacks.

Having observed the dearth of information on the EMW website, however, I'm beginning to thing that this unit may also be a bit dodgy.

soy sos has short video

I'm thinking of grabbing one or two of them for my own system but was unable to find any user-reviews or videos on the module.

They don't appear to be particularly sophisticated but they sure are cheap!

Does anyone actually own and use these things?

2 of these and the Ostankino...great :)
