Not sure if those tile thingies make sense?

It's a little awkward as they are 1U in height (not supported by modulargrid), but they exist...

Like you said, the problem is that ModularGrid does not support this format.So this is a compromise in the graphic representation of this modules.

Problem is that nobody would layout their realworld racks with this compromise (wasted space).

So I am not sure if it is really useful to plan a system.But for sure people maybe interested that this subformat exists, so for now the tile modules should stay until we find a better (technical) solution.

Yeah, it only works if you dedicate an entire row of your rack to 1U and ignore the extra space...
