Im doing Techno, and using modular for two reasons :
1. Sound design - unique leads and a textures
2. Rhythm - random gates and happy accidents
this is my current setup:
Very happy with it but i plan to make it happier by adding additional rack with:
Hexinverter or Verbos complex osc
Verbos Amp and tone
Verbos delay.
Verbos Bark filter
Now, all of these models i can try before at the local vendor. So i will test them before.
However i do have thoughs about the Bark filter which is the exact same size as Piston Honda AND Hertz Donut, which the local vendor don't have.
I know differet things but in the same category of sound design, from what i saw online it seems that the bark filter + delay + A&T is great combination, but Piston/Donut i think will have more sound design options....
